Is Doodle AI free?
Yes to start. You can make 4 images without an account. Sign in with Google for 10 more free credits — no card, and anything you made comes with you.
How much does a doodle cost?
1 credit per image. Most styles draw 2 versions at once so you can pick a favourite, and a multi-image pack costs 1 credit per image it returns. Animations cost 1 credit per second of clip (5–15 seconds). If a generation fails, the credits are refunded automatically.
Do I need a photo?
For most skills, yes — they redraw you from your photo. 2 skills draw from a written description alone, and you can always just chat about the character you want.
Can it animate my doodle?
Yes. 11 animation skills turn a doodle into a 5–15 second clip — either the exact drawing coming to life, or your character starring in a brand-new scene.
Can I buy more credits?
Not yet. Checkout is not open during the current testing phase; extra credits are granted manually rather than sold.
What happens to my photo?
Your photo, prompt and settings are sent to fal.ai, which renders the image, and the finished doodle is kept in Doodle AI's own storage — whether you've signed in or are trying it as a guest. fal.ai's privacy practices also apply — the privacy policy has the details.
